LETTER TO KARL W.B. SCHWARZ CONCERNING MY HUSBAND, REVEREND ASHLEY McDONALD BUCHANAN, D.D.
I'll tell you what happened and since my husband is dead, I have nothing left to lose.
The Immigration border agent Mona Scott is the one who most likely lied to the Canadian Officials about my husband because she did a stupid mistake so instead of admitting her stupid mistake, she preferred to destroy my husband's reputation. The reason why I know that is because of what Karl Schwarz heard, what Mrs. Leblanc at the Immigration office at Hull told me and also what Joseph Soares from the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructures and Communities (he was the political advisor of the Minister) told me on March 2006 concerning what he heard about my husband. I don't think Karl Schwarz, Joseph Soares and Mrs. Leblanc lied to me. Mona Scott is the only one who had a "advantage" to lie concerning my husband because she was supposed to let Ashley pass according to the Amended Immigration Law, Paragraph 36 (2) (B) because 5 years were elapsed since the last DWI and the last DWI of my husband was almost 10 years ago.
Dear Jud, I am not surprised at all. Ashley and I were treated like terrorists on Nov. 3rd, 2004 and we did not see each other when HE NEEDED ME THE MOST BECAUSE HE WAS VERY SICK. We did not see each other for 19 months so all we had left to live with each other was exactly 5 1/2 months.
When we were at the Prescott Port of Entry, they put my husband in a tiny jail for a good 4 hours removing all his pills like he would be a kid. It was told to me it was the "procedure". Ya right. After, Mona Scott entered about 7:15 a.m. and even before going to her office so even before opening my husband's file she told me: "Ashley won't enter Canada today" and she added in French: "This is not a good new, doesn't it"? in a condescending way. Ashley understood from his cell she was racist towards a French Canadian.
Jud: thank you for having the guts to tell the truth. I am fighting until I'll get my husband's reputation restablished because I have his original file from North Carolina and there was nothing special in there and I could show that to the Minister of Immigration Canada.
By the way, since Karl W.B. Schwarz believed what he heard about my husband, I have all the liberty to believe what I heard about him online as well.

Dear Karl W. B. Schwarz:
I am not emailing you to ask for help and I am not bothering you for long (I am not bothering God but I am bothering you) so I am keeping this email very simple. All I want is to set the records straight with you.
1) My heart of Gold, my godly and intelligent husband (member of the Prestigious Who's Who) Ashley McDonald Buchanan, with whom you spoke with on the phone at the beginning of our forced partition at the borders died December 5th, 2006; in fact, he died exactly one year after the email you sent to me below.
2) I saw the original criminal file of my husband because he had nothing to hide from me. When I was in Canada, I did not ask a copy of it even if the Officials (and you) told me Ashley was "deemed undesirable" because I known I could trust him, I known Ashley McDonald Buchanan. He shown me where his criminal file was in case that would interest me but I did not care to go there while he was alive because I had no doubts in my mind. I decided to take a little peak two months after his death and more in details April 1st. There is nothing inside it to flag a red flag and please remember as a starting point Karl that Ashley left North Carolina State to be in New York State so that should indicate you something.
Somebody lied to the Officials you spoke with as well as the ones who spoke to me. That is somebody who “needed” to lie and I think I know who is responsible – at least I know exactly where I would start an investigation if I would be a Canadian Official. I CAN NOT ACCEPT THAT.
With the records I have with me, I could challenge the Minister of Immigration himself and that would be a child’s game if of course he would believe the U.S. Officials of North Carolina and their U.S. Official papers and if I would have a worthy witness with me - maybe a good camera crew - (not from Canada because except me, nobody cared about the rights and reputation of Reverend Ashley McDonald Buchanan, D.D.as a U.S. Citizen from Nov. 3rd, 2004 to his death) at this interview but I do not have 68 U.S. millions invested in Canada for getting his attention. No, I won't send a copy of the certified copies of the originals with no careful attention simply because when Ashley submitted it in Canada, it automatically entered in a "distortion machine process" (I am not asking for your indirect help here, I am just exposing the fact that I am not the Queen of England nor the Prime Minister of Canada but I am precious in God’s sight and Ashley is definitively worth my determination inside my current situation and that is why I am setting the record straight with you, Mr. Karl W. B. Schwarz by sending you this email. That's all.
I hold nothing against you because God allowed me to understand exactly what happened but I am extremely angry towards the ones who messed our lives all right for nothing and I trust God to give them natural consequences like to lose their job because they are not worth of this position since these were on their little stupid power trip.
Bottom line is: I want you to know that Ashley was a very good person with a little criminal file. I was most definitively right to have admiration for him even if Satan was really against us and I am most definitively right to continue my fight for what happened to him.
I am most definitively heart broken.

Quote: "My grandfather once told me that the measure of a man is the strength of his enemies".
Well, it is true for us as well. I think we are facing satan himself.
I am not your enemy but you truly don't care about us, Sir. Ashley called you and you made him feel not welcome because Mister Schwarz was too much busy to take the time to talk to him.
Do you think we have a second life to live? I have only one life to live like you so I'll stop here.
Since your Lady is from another country, I hope you won't experience what we are experiencing yet...that may happen...if you aren't able to help a couple like us - my husband is a Honorably Discharged Vietnam Veteran and a Minister then why to try to change this world?
You don't even care to see this verse applied: "What God hath joined together, let NO man put asunder". (Mk 10:9)
I know you won't believe me but I'll tell you anyway: Immigration U.S. let me a choice ON PAPERS between providing a police certificate or a RMCP certificate. Since the police certificate was quicker, then I provided the police certificate saying I have ABSOLUTLY NO CRIMINAL RECORDS IN CANADA SINCE BIRTH FROM THE CENTRAL COMPUTER DATABASE but now they are asking me the Royal Mounted Canadian Police certificate BEFORE I'LL SEE MY HUSBAND AGAIN - different version from the papers, don't you think so? Do you know how much time it take to get the same confirmation than the police from their central system? Just another six (6) other months to wait to begin my life with my husband - I made sure by asking them three times.
If you won't hear me this time, I won't pay attention to what you said below either.

is said that, after seven centuries of raiding, the Danes under Swein
the Fork Beard took control of most of England and Ireland in 1013 -
1014. His son, Canute, (944 - 1035) was to become King of England.
Swein ordered celebrations to be held in Limerick, Western Ireland (now
Eire) and instructions were given for one thousand beautiful daughters
of the Irish nobility to be present. In their stead the same number of
Irish youths were dispatched, disguised in women’s habits with long
Irish skeans (daggers) below their cloaks. A massacre of the Danes
followed. One of these youths was Anselan Buey OKyan or Ocahan
(pronounced Okane), son of the King of Ulster, the Fourth part of
Ireland (roughly modern Northern Ireland). In 1016, as a result of this
exploit, he fled Ireland and emigrated to Argyll in Western Scotland. Eventually
he acquired lands in the Lennox (to the North of the present day city
of Glasgow), either by marriage, or as a reward for services rendered
to King Malcolm II of Scotland, 1005 - 1034. Lennox was broadly
Strathendrick, but at one time it was known to extend from Glenfuin in
the West to Fintry in the East. In addition, Anselan was granted Arms,
practically identical to those used by the Buchanan Society today. All
records of Irish insignia have long since disappeared. The
Name BUCHANAN is possibly derived from three sources: from the Gaelic
Boghchanon, meaning “low ground belonging to the Canon”,
Mac-a-Chanonaich, meaning “Son of the Canon”, whilst the place name
BUCHANAN, Bothchanian, means “The Canon’s seat”. A simpler derivation
is the development of Buey OKyan into BUCHANAN. However, all point to
some connection to the Canon. On Inchcailleach, an island in Loch
Lomond opposite the village of Balmaha, (the Pass to the Highlands) and
near the mouth of the River Endrick, a church had been founded between
650 and 700 AD by St Kentigerna, wife of an Irish Prince Feradach. It
is more than possible that the lands accepted by Anselan had belonged
originally to the Canon of this Church, of which the remains are still
to be seen. In 1621 the Parish Church of Buchanan absorbed the Parish
of Inchcailleach. This United Parish extended from the River Endrick in
the South to Inversnaid in the North and the entire area covered today
by the Queen Elizabeth National Forest Park. This includes the mountain
of Ben Lomond. In 1314 the Clan supported King Robert the Bruce at
Bannockburn in Scotland’s War of Independence against England.
A Charter of 1353 exists which refers to “carucate of land called
Buchquhaane”. Help was given to the French King after his defeat at the
Battle of Agincourt in 1415 and it is still claimed that Sir Alexander
Buchanan killed the English Duke of Clarence at the Battle of Baugé in
1421. It is because of this act that the Buchanan crest shows a right
hand and arm holding aloft a Ducal cap. The Chief of the Buchanan Clan,
and many Clansmen, died at the Battle of Flodden in 1513, when King
James IV was killed. George Buchanan, the famous Latin Scholar,
Humanist and Reformer, was born near Killearn in 1506. He was a student
of the University of St Andrews from 1524 until 1525 and then at Paris,
France. He was imprisoned by Cardinal Beaton, but escaped to France. He
was tutor to Mary Queen of Scots between 1536 and 1538, and to her son
King James VI of Scotland, who later became James I of England in 1603
following the Union of the Crowns and authorised the translation of the
Holy Bible into English. The Clan took part in the Battle of Pinkie in
1547 and the Battle of Langside in 1568. There exists a long Family
Tree, dated 1602, where the surnames are written as Boquhannane. The
succession from Anselan was uninterrupted to John Buchanan, the 22nd
Laird, who married Mary, daughter of Lord Cardross, and who died in
1681, leaving two daughters and many debts. The Estates were latterly
purchased by the Duke of Montrose, who built Buchanan Castle, which has
thus no connection with our History. The Title “of that Ilk” expired
with the 22nd Laird’s death in 1681 and, although a claim was laid in
1878 for Chiefship, the applicant’s grandson died without issue in
1919. Since then the Chiefship has been dormant. Ten
years after the Jacobite Rebellion in 1715 the Buchanan Society was
formed. In the same year, 1725, General Wade was appointed
Commander-in-Chief of the Highlands and started his remarkable road
building scheme. During the Second Jacobite Rebellion in 1745-1746
(Bonnie Prince Charlie) the Clan remained loyal to the Crown.
Throughout this long number of years the Members of the Buchanan Clan,
together with its Septs, have given honour to their Clan and have
served their country as well as the countries of their adoption
throughout the world. |

Rev 10-26-2001, 11-11-2003 The
Scot-Irish settled Greencastle-Antrim, as well as the rest of the
Cumberland Valley. Who were the Scot-Irish? They were protestant
Presbyterian, Lowland Scots. The Scot-Irish were not
Irish and were not Catholics. The term Scot-Irish is strictly an
American nomenclature. In England and Ireland the same people are
called Ulster Scots, which is much less confusing. In
the early seventeenth century when James I ascended to the English
throne in 1603, one of his main objectives was to civilize the
uncontrolable, autonomous Irish - the majority of whom were Catholic. James
I’s chosen action plan to accomplish this objective was to begin an
extensive colonization plan which emigrated English protestants,
Presbyterian Scots, and even French and German protestants from their
homelands into Ireland during the early 1600's. He especially
concentrated on the Ulster region which, at that time, included the
nine present-day counties of Donegal, Fermanagh, Cavan, Monaghan,
Armagh, Down, Tyrone, Coleraine (later Londonderry), and Antrim. The
Ulster region is located in the northeastern part of the island of
Ireland and lies closest, geographically, to England and Scotland
compared to the rest of Ireland. Archie Reid, president of the
Ballyclare Historical Society in County Antrim, Northern Ireland wrote
the following about County Donegal. "When partition was set up, Donegal
was not included in the new Northern Ireland. We still feel an affinity
and my Historical Society has close links with the Donegal one and we
exchange visits." The
lands that were confiscated had belonged to Irish Earls who had left
Ireland seeking help from Spain and Rome to fight the English crown.
The Irish Earls never again returned to their homeland. The land was
first given to the new immigrants and then to servitors of the King.
The native Irish were the last to receive any leftover land. In the
process of settling the Ulster Plantation, the English displaced masses
of Irish peasants, often refusing them the right to settle on certain
lands. During
this time of colonization, the Scot-Irish built towns and villages,
commerce and industry increased, and new farming methods were
introduced. More importantly, the Presbyterian Church was established
in a country very strongly rooted in the Catholic faith which caused
great religious turmoil and conflict. This conflict was exacerbated
when, through the years, the English monarchs wavered back and forth on
their religious policies. The
Presbyterian Scots lived in Northern Ireland for a little over a
century before immigrating to the American colonies. The English
landlords found the Scot settlers too similar to the Irish natives and
resented them. The immigration was precipitated by the English Monarchy
who tried to exert its own political and religious authority over the
citizens of Ireland, including the Presbyterian Scots, causing constant
struggles for religious tolerance, civil liberties, and political
rights such as holding office or having representation in government.
Economic factors also affected their decisions to immigrate to the
colonies. Anglican ministers made the majority of their income by
imposing tithes on the Irish - Catholic and Presbyterian alike. The
Irish tenants were charged high rents for their land adding additional
economic burdens on their families. Consecutive potato crop failures in
1724 1725, and 1726 compounded all the preceding problems and forced
many Ulster Scots to seek a new life in America. The
mass immigration of the Scot-Irish took place over a 58-year span
between 1717 and 1775. This time period is known as the "Great
Migration" and occurred in five "waves". The immigrants from the first
three waves established the major settlements of the Scot-Irish in the
colonies. The
immigrants from the first and second waves landed in Philadelphia and
the Delaware River in Pennsylvania. The third wave of immigrants moved
beyond Pennsylvania into Virginia and beyond. From Historical Sketch of Franklin County,
"They brought with them a hatred of oppression, and love of freedom in
its fullest measure… The Scotch-Irish, in the struggle for national
independence, were ever to be found on the side of the colonies." The
Scot-Irish did not, unfortunately, avoid political strife in
Pennsylvania with the Quakers and the German settlers in the early part
of the 18th century. The Quakers did not appreciate their
interference in politics and were especially unhappy with them when the
Scot-Irish gained control of the Pennsylvania Assembly in 1756. It is
to the credit of the many Scot-Irish who settled within its borders
early on that Pennsylvania is what it is today. The Scot-Irish were
military leaders and prominent lawmakers from the beginning of the
colony's history through all dangers (including Indians) and especially
during our fight for freedom and human rights. They helped write the
constitutions and frame our fundamental laws. Fourteen United States
presidents were descendents from the small northern corner of the
island of Ireland. More than seven Pennsylvania governors were
descendents of the Scot-Irish as well as many U.S. senators,
congressmen, judges, and other prominent people from all walks of life.
Davy Crocket, Mark Twain, Andy Jackson, and Sam Houston were all of
Scot-Irish descent. Some familiar local Scot-Irish surnames are
Allison, Irwin, Craig, McLaughlin, McLanahan, McDonald, McDowell,
McCrae, Alexander, Chambers, and Davison. The
Germans considered themselves to be orderly, industrious, and frugal
and thought the Scot-Irish were impetuous, reckless, and
quick-tempered. Because of this, the Germans and the Scot-Irish often
maintained settlements away from each other and avoided social contact
in much the same manner as the Scots did with the Irish people while
living in Northern Ireland. The
Scot-Irish who settled in America were descendants of the Lowland Scots
who were robust, adventurous, and rebellious. There is no architectural
style or type of furniture attributed to them so, in turn, there are no
known artifacts surviving that are specific to the Scot-Irish. But the
legacy they did leave behind for future generations is their religion.
In each settlement they built a church in which to practice their
Presbyterian faith. In the early 1700's, the Greencastle settlement was
known as the East Conococheague Settlement. The first church, known as
the Red Church, was built at Moss Spring. The
Scot-Irish were nomadic. Those who settled Greencastle had made their
way westward from Philadelphia and then south into Antrim Township and
then again continued west and over the Tuscarora Mountains. Along their
route they left settlements about eight to ten miles apart. These
settlements were quite often near springs or waterways. They
adopted the Scandinavian housing of log cabins. They didn't have many
culinary skills and ate mostly mutton, lamb, and oats. Their music,
unlike the Highlanders with their bagpipes, was played on fiddles and
dulcimers. Originally
in 1682, there were only three counties - Chester, Philadelphia, and
Bucks – that were established by William Penn. Chester included all of
the land southwest of the Skuykill River to the extreme western and
northern limits of the state. - On May 10, 1729, Lancaster County was established from Chester County land.
-
At the May 1741 quarter sessions court of Lancaster County, Antrim
Township was established. At that time Antrim Township included all of
present day Franklin County except Warren, Fannett and Metal Townships.
- Lurgan Township was established from the northern part of Antrim Township in 1743.
- On August 9, 1749, York County was established west of Lancaster from Lancaster County land.
- On January 27, 1750, Cumberland County was established from Lancaster County land.
- Greencastle was founded in 1782 by John Allison and was situated in the southern portion of Cumberland County.
- On
September 9, 1784, Franklin County was established from the southwest
part of Cumberland County. Any local research for tax records, deeds,
or genealogy dating before September 9, 1784 must be done in Carlisle,
the County seat of Cumberland County. All surviving records after that
date can be researched in the Franklin County administrative offices in
Chambersburg, Pa.
The
first white man to settle in what we know today as Franklin County was
Benjamin Chambers, a Scot-Irishman. He was from County Antrim in
Northern Ireland and along with his brothers James, Robert, and Joseph
immigrated to the Province of Pennsylvania some time between 1726 and
1730. With permission from the Indians, Chambers was allowed to settle
on the land of his choice. This was about 1730. On March 30, 1734, the
agent for the proprietors gave him a license "to take and settle and
improve four hundred acres of land at the Falling Spring's mouth, and
on both sides of the Conococheague Creek, for the convenience of a
grist mill and plantation." This place became Chambersburg. Antrim
Township, established in 1741, is named after County Antrim in the very
northeast corner of Northern Ireland from where many of this area's
first settlers came. There is also a town by the name of Antrim located
in County Antrim The
land that Greencastle now sits upon was first deeded to Samuel Smith by
a land warrant in 1750. It was then transferred to John Smith, then
John Davison, and finally to William Allison, Sr. in 1763. In 1769,
William, Sr. transferred a portion of the land - 300 acres - to his
son, John. If Greencastle was named for a place in the north of
Ireland, there is no doubt the gently rolling landscape of this area
reminded them of their homes in Ireland. John
Allison was a colonel in the Revolutionary War and served three terms
in the Pennsylvania Assembly. In 1787 he was a delegate from Franklin
County to the Pennsylvania Convention called to ratify the new Federal
Constitution. Allison
founded Greencastle in 1782. Allison, along with the help of James
Crawford, laid out the town in 246 numbered lots of equal size (30' x
250') and sold them through a lottery at $8 each. Allison owned and ran
a tavern in town. In 1785 he contracted with William Rankin who owned
Moss Spring to provide a fresh supply of water via a wooden trunk line
into town for daily uses and fire protection.
Allison-Antrim Museum is continuing its research into how Greencastle
got its name. There are conflicting references in William P. Conrad's
books and news articles and other history book references. Some
indicate that the immigrants left from the Greencastle on the border of
County Antrim and the city of Belfast. Other references are made to the
Greencastle in County Donegal. A third twist is the fact that there
were two large houses in Elizabethan times in County Antrim - one was
called The White House and the other 'Greencastle'. Although the house
Greencastle was not actually a castle it was quite large in comparison
to the cottages dotted about it, and according to Archie Reid, to the
people who lived in its proximity it probably seemed like a castle. Or,
could our town have been named after General Green of the Revolutionary
War? The museum will continue investigating the Allison family's
heritage through connections in Northern Ireland and will keep this
information updated as facts are received. Compiled by Bonnie A. Enough is enough! I
met the Immigration Officer last week and she told me my Visa is valid
until June 8th, 2007. Why everybody is giving me a hard time in this
little Village about my Visa then? (I am not implying she is wrong) Listen: The
Immigration border agent at the Fort Covington Port of Entry gave me a
hard time on Dec. 11th, 2006, one day before my husband’s burial - he
said my Visa was expired and when he heard that Ashley was dead he was just more mean to me
so I said to Ashley’s family: “Oh no, they won’t even let me bury my
husband”! because I thought he would drop me in Canada on the spot
because of the way he was talking. One of the witness said: “This is harassment”! and this was coming from somebody who is not really my friend. (because
the border agent and Immigration officer separated us like cattle on
Nov. 3rd, 2004 at Ogdensburg Port of Entry and according to the
Immigration law: “When a petition is approved for the husband,
wife, parent or unmarried minor child of a United States citizen, these
persons are classified as immediate relatives. They do not have to wait
for a visa number because immediate relatives are not subject to the
immigrant visa limit”. Source: they
were supposed to let me pass because anyway I was coming from U.S. with
my husband - precisely from North Carolina - and we wanted to live in
Canada but since we were married, the Canadian border agent stopped
Ashley so we went back to the U.S. These guys
robbed us 19 precious months and all we had left is 5 ½ months so they
made the end of life of my husband a living hell without mentioning he
was sick to top all of it off). Like
this would not be enough, the Department of Motor vehicle in #####, New
York did not want to give me a learner permit, telling me my Visa was
expired. And recently, this Department told me they would call the
cops on me if I would not return the plates because they did not want
to register my car to the State again. I should add that I had to
“fight” (just presenting all my ID’s with no smile) to get the car
title because even that, they did not want to transfer to me but I got
it. What’s up? What’s the problem of being a French Legal Educated Immigrant from Canada instead of being an Illegal Bean Picker from Mexico?
(Bush predicts amnesty bill for them this year) It’s
not enough to have to deal with my husband’s recent death that I have
to be back on the battlefield again to solve this very serious problem. Something
is up about my Visa in this village for sure and we waited a very long
15 months for my Immigration process to be over – AND THIS IS ALL WE
GOT FROM WAITING ALL THIS TIME?!? How I can work with that thing to be able to buy a decent monument for my Ash? The
Immigration officer told me I have at least 7 weeks to wait to get my
new permanent resident card but I did not pay my apartment since 3
months already. Do the calculation yourself if you think I am in a problem here or not. Go back to Canada? No way, I have things to do for
my Ash. Sincerely, Marie Buchanan, M.Ps. p.s. by
the way I can not ask for Social Assistance, it would be a bad mark on
my Visa file and I have no criminal records, not even a parking ticket.
